This is a 200Ah IEC-certified lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) deep cycle battery constructed from high-quality aluminium-encased prismatic cells. Ideal for weight-sensitive and/or high-vibration applications.

Korr 200AH deep-cycle lithium batteries consist of four high quality aluminium-encased prismatic cells connected in series, each with a nominal voltage of 3.2v. Prismatic cells are lightweight, provide excellent vibration resistance and have far fewer possible points of failure than other types of battery cells.

These batteries use an advanced battery management system (BMS) to ensure an even energy balance between cells and allow the batteries to be connected in parallel or series (up to 4). The BMS contains an intelligent protection circuit module which protects against overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit and over-temperature.

Korr battery cells are protected by custom-molded EVA rubber cushioning. This cushioning offers protection against knocks and drops, and ensures better stability and longevity when the batteries are used in high-shock and high-vibration environments such as marine and vehicle applications.

These batteries have been tested and fully certified as compliant with the requirements of UN/DOT 38.3 standard for lithium cells and batteries.

Why upgrade to lithium?

  • Long cycle life: lasts up to 10x longer than Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries
  • More usable capacity: safely use up to 70% of usable capacity and 99% in an emergency (vs 50%/70% for SLA)
  • Light weight: About half the weight of an equivalent SLA battery
  • Environmentally friendly: Non-toxic, contains no acid, can be installed in any direction

The Hardkorr difference:

Don’t be fooled – deep cycle batteries might look similar on the outside, but the key differences between low-quality and high-quality batteries can be found on the inside. Our batteries are constructed from superior grade components, including the cells, battery management system and even the wiring. Not only does this mean your battery will last longer and provide much greater reliability, but it also provides two other significant advantages.

First, our maximum discharge rate is 200Ah for 40 minutes or 400Ah for 3 seconds pulse. This is significantly higher than most others, and is especially important if you plan to use this battery in conjunction with an inverter.

Second, you can connect up to four of these batteries in parallel or up to four in series. This means you can create up to a 800Ah 12V setup, or a 200Ah 48V setup!

Handy remote reset switch:

The Battery Management System (BMS) inside all lithium batteries contains a protection circuit which trips if the voltage drops below a certain setpoint. In the case of Hardkorr batteries, it is set at 10.0V. This circuit prevents damage to the battery by putting it into a ‘sleep’ mode until it is reset.

In the past, resetting the battery after the over-discharge protection was activated was not easy. Whilst some battery chargers do contain a “wake-up” function, most people had to resort to applying a constant voltage above 12V across the terminals using jumper leads or home-made wires. This was fraught with danger; damage to appliances or the battery were not uncommon.

Our batteries provide an easy solution to this problem; simply connect our included remote reset switch to the socket on the top face of the battery and hold down the button for 5 seconds, and the over-discharge circuit will reset itself. The button can also be flush-mounted into your 12v setup if desired.

LCD digital display:

Korr deep cycle lithium batteries now come with a handy LCD digital display on the top of the unit. This display allows you to easily view your battery’s voltage at any point in time. The screen is backlit, so you can read its output regardless of whether it is day or night.
