Use the remaining SHIELD MAX from the speaker hole created and stick it to the door panel behind the speaker to further enhance the audio performance by absorbing backwaves 2. Applying the Speaker Foam strip around the speaker mounting surface further acts as an air tight seal to eliminate bass response lost from gaps between the speaker and the mounting plate. 3. Attaching the Sound Snakes (suitable for up to 8 inch speakers ) around the front lip of the speaker acts a seal to the door trim panel. This stops audio being lost behind the door trim and also directs all the sound into the car. 4.
